CAMBODIA LESSONS LEARNT REPORT (English)
This report identifies the key lessons learned from the implementation of the project “Shaping Our Future: Developing Healthy and Happy Relationships” in in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia from September 2016 to August 2017. The intervention is designed to prevent violence against women and girls through community sessions with young adolescents and caregivers using an intervention manual that was contextualized and adapted to the Cambodian context. The report was developed by Partners for Prevention in collaboration with UN Volunteers based at UNFPA Cambodia, with inputs from UNFPA Cambodia, and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs (MoWA). This publication aims to provide lessons learned for UN agencies, government and civil society organizations from this process, both in implementing primary prevention programmes to stop VAWG and in promotion of volunteerism in the community.
