The quantitative survey was conducted from 2011 to 2012 by the Institute of Sexuality and Gender Studies at Beijing Forestry University and the Anti-Domestic Violence Network, with support from UNFPA China and Partners for Prevention.

The qualitative life history study was conducted from 2012 to 2013 by the School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University, with support from UNFPA China and Partners for Prevention. The full report is forthcoming.
