Indonesian Adolescent Manual for Facilitators (English)

This manual is intended for use by facilitators of intervention groups of adolescents, with the overall aim of promoting gender-equitable, respectful and caring attitudes and practices among adolescents, who will be supported and equipped with skills to appropriately manage stress and mental health challenges, be engage in productive and beneficial leisure pursuits, and build healthy, non-violent and happy interpersonal relationships.

Engaging Young People To Change Social Norms And Promote Gender Equitable Relationships (ENGLISH)

This policy brief documents lessons learned and good practices of Reimay (Reaching Papuan Prosperity) a P4P project which engaged adolescent girls and boys, and their caregivers, in participatory educational sessions to change social norms that increase the risk of intimate partner violence (IPV) and violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Papua, Indonesia. The report outlines key achievements and provides recommendations for replicating the results of the intervention.

INDONESIA LESSONS LEARNT REPORT

This report identifies the key lessons learned from the implementation of VAWG prevention intervention called Reimay ( “Achieving the prosperity” in the local language)  in two villages in Papua for 15 months from October 2016 to December 2017. It was implemented by PKBI (Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia/Indonesian Planning and Parenthood Association) Region Papua and an implementing unit LP3AP (Lembaga Pengkajian dan Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Papua/Papuan Women’s and Children’s Empowerment Research Institution).

Indonesia Factsheet

The International Planned Parenthood Federation of Papua, UNFPA, UNV and UN Women with support from Partners for Prevention, are implementing a VAWG prevention project in Papua, Indonesia. The intervention, Rai Mai (Reaching Papuan Prosperity) addresses key risk factors for VAWG identified in the UN Multi-Country Study on Men and Violence in Indonesia.

Men's Experiences of Violence against Women in Indonesia: and How We Can Begin to Prevent It

The quantitative survey on men’s experiences of violence against women in Indonesia was conducted between October and December of 2012 by the Rifka Annisa Women’s Crisis Centre in collaboration with UN Women and Partners for Prevention. The summary, “Men’s Experiences of Violence against Women in Indonesia” presents statistics on the experiences of 2,577 men with respect to violence against women, as well as in their own lives. They were a representative sample of three sites: Jakarta, Jayapura and Purworejo.
